• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

CodeByte reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse platform features, or compromise platform integrity.

You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or resell platform content without authorization
• Share paid content, coins, mentor feedback, or account access with others
• Reverse engineer, scrape, automate, or exploit platform features or systems
• Abuse AI systems or attempt to bypass usage limits
• Upload malicious, misleading, or harmful content
• Use the platform for unlawful or unauthorized activities

Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination without refund.

CodeByte provides educational content, quizzes, and AI-assisted feedback for learning and preparation purposes only.

• CodeByte does not guarantee job placement, interview success, or specific outcomes
• AI-generated feedback is guidance-based and may not always be accurate or complete
• Users are responsible for interpreting and applying feedback responsibly

Learning outcomes depend on individual effort, consistency, and understanding.

All content available on CodeByte, including but not limited to:

• Documentation
• Quizzes and problem sheets
• Learning materials and explanations
• AI-generated insights
• Platform design, UI, and branding

is owned by CodeByte or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

CodeByte uses a virtual currency system including CodeByte Coins (CB) and Mentor Credits.

• Coins and mentor credits may be earned or purchased
• They are used to unlock premium features such as:
  • AI feedback
  • Problem sheets
  • Mentor-style reviews
• Coins and mentor credits:
  • Have no real-world monetary value
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Are non-transferable between users

Purchases & Refunds

• All purchases are one-time and non-refundable, unless required by law
• Coins do not expire
• Unlocked content remains accessible for the lifetime of the platform
• Pricing, coin costs, and feature availability may change at CodeByte’s discretion

Technical Exception:
If a verified technical issue occurs (e.g., coins not credited or content not unlocking), contact support. Verified issues will be resolved appropriately.

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. CodeByte does not store payment card or banking details.

CodeByte strives for reliability, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.

Temporary unavailability may occur due to:

• Maintenance or updates
• Technical failures
• External service disruptions

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CodeByte shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for losses caused by external systems or user actions
• Use of the platform is at your own risk

CodeByte may suspend or terminate access without notice if:

• These Terms are violated
• Platform misuse or abuse is detected

Termination does not entitle users to refunds for unused coins or content.
